Welcome to our year-round holiday rental lodging in the beautiful Royan Hill Country of Charente Maritime, located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary. Veronique and Jean-Jacques are delighted to invite you to their cottage in Arces-sur-Gironde, a charming village near the sea (4 kms), with the nearest beaches just 8 kms away.

We provide complimentary amenities for your baby, including a cot with a 5cm mattress, a bath, a bottle warmer, a stroller for ages 0-3, baby diapers, and a highchair.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the region, including a visit to the Palmyre zoo, mountain biking trails, spas, hydrotherapy in Saujon, the West Indies in Jonzac, Rochelle and Franco follies, a renowned 18-hole golf course, karting, a marina offering scooter and boat rentals, tennis, swimming, water sports such as sailing, hiking, fishing, casinos, cinemas, bars, nightclubs, parks, and children's clubs.

You'll also have the opportunity to discover a wide range of attractions, such as the historic town of Royan from the 1950s, the famous Grande Côte in Saint Palais sur Mer, the estuary house in Vaux sur Mer, the troglodyte caves of Meschers, the Fâ archaeological site, the village church of Talmont, oyster parks in Marennes, Vaux sur Mer, Oléron island, Isle de Ré, Ile d'Aix, the citadel of Brouage, the Royal rope and the house of Pierre Loti in Rochefort, the giant aquarium of La Rochelle, the Gallo-Roman town of Saintes, the Paléosite St. Cesaire, the city of Pons, the wine route of Medoc, and the UNESCO-declared city of Bordeaux.

There are countless reasons to visit our beautiful region and relax in our cottage. We offer special rates for curists throughout the year, with a 10% discount on the usual price for proof of a 3-week consecutive stay, excluding the months of July and August.

Please note that we accept checks and pets under certain conditions. Linen rental and paid or free services are available. You'll find shops in the center of Arces (300m) and in Cozes (4 kms), with a market in Royan (15 kms). WiFi internet and phone services are also available.

Le Gite a été parfais pour notre petite famille. 2 Adultes et 2 enfants avec tout confort. Quoi demander de plus car les plages ne sont pas loin et ont pas eu les désagrements du bord de mer avec son affluence.
