La Casa Nova restoration project commenced in 2004, rejuvenating the old haylofts into charming and comfortable apartments. We are delighted to offer two apartments, accommodating a total of 4 to 6 guests. Each apartment features a bathroom, stone-built kitchen, and a cozy fireplace. The authentic furnishings, including wooden roofs, tiled floors, and classic Italian design, truly reflect the essence of Tuscan traditions. Furthermore, the apartments are equipped with a double sofa bed and an additional flexible single bed.The rental rates for each apartment, accommodating 2 to 3 guests, are as follows:
- 60 Euros per day
- 360 Euros per week
These prices include a breakfast with typical Italian ingredients provided in the kitchen, informational materials about local tourist attractions, and weekly cleaning for longer stays.

La Casa Nova, with a rich history dating back to the 11th century, was originally constructed as a control tower in the picturesque Tevere valley. In the 17th century, it underwent a transformation into a charming Country house, boasting a unique "a corte chiusa" structure. This remarkable property has been passed down through generations of the Cangi family, who continue to reside here.Recently restored to its former glory, La Casa Nova now offers two separate and fully equipped Bed & Breakfast apartments. Nestled in front of one of the enchanting gardens, guests can revel in the serene ambience, finding solace and relaxation on comfortable chairs or the inviting hammock.
Beyond offering a peaceful retreat, La Casa Nova is also a thriving farmhouse. Here, farm animals are lovingly bred, and an array of fruit trees, flowers, vegetables, crops, and even tobacco plants flourish. The result of this dedication is the production of exquisite, high-quality honey.

BY CAR:
If you are coming from Milan-Bologna, take highway A14 to Cesena and exit at Cesena nord. From there, follow E45 towards Rome-Perugia and take the exit for Sansepolcro sud. Turn right towards Anghiari and continue until you reach the hamlet S. Fiora. At S. Fiora, turn right following the sign for "S. Croce".
If you are coming from Rome, take highway A1 to Orte and then follow E45 towards Perugia-Cesena. Take the exit for Sansepolcro sud and turn left towards Anghiari. Continue until you reach the hamlet S. Fiora and turn right following the sign for "S. Croce".
If you are coming from Florence, take highway A1 towards Rome and exit at Arezzo. Follow the directions to Sansepolcro along S.S.73 and then turn left towards Anghiari. Continue until you reach the hamlet S. Fiora and turn right following the sign for "S. Croce".
BY TRAIN:
If you are arriving at Arezzo railway station (Italian Railways FS Milan-Rome), you can either take a taxi (28 km distance) or a bus operated by autolinee SITA to reach Sansepolcro.
BY PLANE:
If you are flying into Fiumicino - ROME AIRPORT, it is approximately 210 km away. Florence Airport is about 102 km away, and Sant' Egidio - PERUGIA AIRPORT is about 58 km away.
