Description:

Description for B&B:

This private house offers comfortable B&B nightly rate rooms, combining the convenience of a Guest House with the affordability of a hostel. The house features three rooms in a traditional terrace, along with two bathrooms. It exudes rustic charm while providing modern amenities, catering to individuals with a penchant for music, art, or academics. Situated on a quiet road in a vibrant area, guests have easy access to numerous cafes, restaurants, and transportation options, including all airports. Located in Finsbury Park, Tube Zone 2, the house is well-positioned for exploring the city center and other areas of interest. Please note that the rooms do not have en-suite bathrooms, but gowns and towels are provided. One of the rooms has a bathroom adjacent to it, while the other bathroom is a shower room. It is important to mention that guests are required to be out of the house between 10 am and 5 pm every day due to insurance purposes. This arrangement is advantageous for guests who wish to explore and visit attractions in zones 1 and 2.

Directions

Directions to Airports:
To get to the airports (Stansted, Gatwick, and Heathrow), take the Victoria/Piccadilly lines tube, which is the same line for all three airports. Alternatively, you can go to the main station arrivals. Most airports are approximately 1 hour away. The most direct routes are Stansted, Luton, and Heathrow.

From Stansted airport, take the Liverpool Street train and get off at Seven Sisters/Tottenham Hale tube station. Finsbury Park is only 1 or 2 stops away from there.

From Heathrow, take the Piccadilly line. From Gatwick, take the Victoria line. The nearest tube station to my location is Finsbury Park, which is in zone 2 and approximately 20 minutes away from the city center. From Finsbury Park, take bus W7, which will take around 5-10 minutes to reach my home, and then it's only 2-3 minutes from the bus stop.

If you have a travel card, it will be cheaper for you. When you arrive at Finsbury Park station, go upstairs and turn right to the back of the station where the buses are located. At the main road, wait for the W7 bus. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Holly Park, which should take around 5-10 minutes or 3-4 stops. Once you get off the bus, go back one road and you will find my house halfway down on the left with a light purple door.

If you prefer a minicab, you can contact Hercules at 0207 272 6666. There is also a minicab office near the W7 bus stop. The cost for a minicab to the airports is approximately £40-50, and to my house, it would only be a few pounds. This option may be cheaper than taking the trains, especially if you are traveling with more than one person.

Currently, parking is free between 5pm and 9.45am on weekdays. If you need to leave your car between 10am and 2pm and are not staying overnight, please request vouchers as there will be a charge of £5 per session.

I recommend looking into the London Pass at londonpass.com. It offers cheaper travel options and entrance to various sites. Additionally, consider arranging an Oyster card in advance for easier travel within London.
