Directions

To find Crail by road, take the A917 which is located ten miles Southeast of St. Andrews and four miles West of Anstruther. If you are coming from Edinburgh, Glasgow, or the South, cross the Forth Road bridge via the A90 which becomes the M90. Then, take the A92 to Kirkcaldy and join the A915. Finally, follow the A917 to reach Crail. If you are traveling from Inverness or Perth, take the A913 to Cupar and then the B940 to Crail. Alternatively, if you are coming from Aberdeen or Dundee, follow the A92 and then the A91 to St. Andrews before taking the A917 to Crail. To find Crail by rail, the London to Aberdeen line is located just thirty minutes away at Leuchars. Regular direct services as well as sleeper services are available.
