Nestled in a wide and picturesque avenue leading to the seafront, The Dunedin offers free and unrestricted parking on both sides of Alexandra Road and the surrounding streets. Although situated on the outskirts of town, it is just a short stroll away from the town center and the stunning seafront. This prime location makes it the perfect base for exploring the numerous pubs, restaurants, and attractions that Penzance has to offer, all at reasonable prices.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast served in our bright and airy dining room, located on the lower ground floor. We provide a variety of cereals, chilled fruit juices, and cooked-to-order main courses to cater to different tastes and preferences.

For the ultimate relaxation, our guest lounge on the upper ground floor offers comfortable sofas and armchairs. Whether you prefer watching TV, reading books, newspapers, magazines, or tourist literature, or simply taking a nap, this space is designed for your enjoyment.

To keep you connected, we offer free and unhindered access to the internet through our Free Hot-Spot Wireless Broadband (WIFI) network. Please ensure your laptop is equipped with a radio card, appropriate virus protection, and a firewall. Feel free to ask for a scratchcard to obtain the password for network access.

Please note that The Dunedin is a completely non-smoking establishment. Penzance is an ideal destination for your holiday. The Penwith Peninsula is famous for its hidden coves, sandy beaches, and ancient Celtic historical sites, all easily accessible from Penzance by car, train, or coach trips starting from the town's bus station. For the more adventurous, the bay offers opportunities for sailing, windsurfing, and scenic walks along the rugged coastal footpaths, where you may even spot playful dolphins.

A must-visit attraction is the renowned Minack open-air theatre, perched on cliffs in Porthcurno. Here, you can enjoy a variety of plays and musicals against a stunning backdrop. Don't miss the chance to take a day trip to the tranquil Isles of Scilly, conveniently departing from Penzance via helicopter or the SS Scillonian.

Last but not least, make sure to explore St. Michael's Mount, an enchanting island rising from Mounts Bay and owned by the National Trust. Reach the island by boat or, during low tide, take a memorable walk across the causeway.
