Description for B&B:

This charming house is located on the outskirts of Tours and offers a picturesque setting overlooking a beautiful 5000 m2 wooded park with two large cedar trees and a delightful pool. The three spacious and comfortable rooms, one of which is a suite that can accommodate up to 5 people, are tastefully decorated and all have direct access to a small private garden and an indoor swimming pool. From here, you can easily explore the famous "Castles of the Loire" and the various tourist attractions in Tours and its surrounding region.

These cottages provide modern comforts and a tranquil setting in the countryside of Touraine. They are situated in a restored mid-nineteenth century building, offering a perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary convenience. The property boasts a poetic landscape with a flower garden, vineyards, and fruit and nut trees, all harmoniously sharing this space. You can explore the surrounding wilderness for several kilometers, taking leisurely walks in the park and rediscovering nature while enjoying peace and tranquility. Despite its rural location, these comfortable cottages are only a ten-minute drive from historic Tours, as well as small towns, historic villages, and the famous castles of the Loire Valley.

You have the option to enjoy table d'hote meals at your convenience or try the numerous restaurants in the Touraine region. Picnics are also possible. This region is renowned for its abundant tourism, cultural activities, sports, and opportunities to explore nature. Furthermore, the Touraine wines will enhance your gastronomic experiences in this department, and you can even visit the many vineyards and wineries in the area.

For outdoor enthusiasts, this region is ideal for hiking and cycling. Beatrice and Patrick, your hosts, will be happy to provide you with a map and some valuable advice. The accommodation includes two bedrooms, one located upstairs, each capable of accommodating a family of four. Each room has its own private shower and toilet, ensuring privacy for every guest. The rooms are equipped with a double bed (160 x 200) and two single beds, with the option of a baby bed if needed.

The property also features a terrace with a patio, as well as a ping-pong table and children's games such as swings and a slide. Guests also have access to a fridge, microwave, and a computer connected to the internet (ADSL).

Review by: Valérie de Genève., Jan 13 2013 11:27PM

Review by: Gilles, Jan 8 2013 11:38PM
