Our finca is situated in the picturesque hills of El Terral, within the enchanting region of Axarquia to the east of Malaga. This area is renowned for its charming white Moorish villages nestled among the majestic mountains. Each village has its own unique traditional festivities. Our country guesthouse is conveniently located on the outskirts of Comares, a stunning Moorish hilltop village, as well as the delightful Riogordo. Despite being surrounded by peaceful serenity, we are just a short 40-minute drive from Malaga airport and the beautiful Mediterranean beaches.

The name 'Algarrobo' translates to 'Carob Tree' – the tree that produces the renowned St. John's bread. These edible pods are highly nutritious and can be used as a substitute for chocolate. Unlike cocoa, carob beans contain less caffeine and fat. Additionally, the seeds of the carob tree are the key ingredient in the Spanish liquor known as 'Palo'. After a day of exploring the Spanish countryside or relaxing on the beaches, we are delighted to offer you a taste of this exquisite liquor.
