Our recently renovated stable, measuring 40m2, is now a spacious and comfortable sleeping facility for two people. B&B D Oude Backerij is privately located in our garden and fully furnished with all the necessary amenities. The private shower, toilet, and warm water basin ensure a convenient stay, while the availability of coffee and tea adds a pleasant touch. Even on colder days, you can enjoy the comfort of central heating. The room is equipped with a TV and a small fridge for your convenience.

To make your stay even more enjoyable, private parking is available on our premises, just 20 meters from the room. Outside the room, there is a private terrace in the garden where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside views. When the weather is nice, breakfast is served here.

Our location in the Beemster area, which has been recognized as official UNESCO World Heritage since 1999, offers our guests the opportunity to explore the most beautiful part of Noord-Holland. You can take great bicycle tours to nearby towns such as Edam and Hoorn, or enjoy activities like picnics, swimming, and sailing trips at the Ijsselmeer. Within a 30-minute drive, you can also visit Alkmaar, the famous Zaanse Schans, and of course, Amsterdam.

If you're a golf enthusiast, there are several golf courses nearby, and our owner, who is also a golf player, is more than happy to assist with reservations and provide useful information. Additionally, our owner is an enthusiastic gardener and a wine expert. Upon request, they can serve you some great wines during your stay. Inside the B&B, you can also admire the ceramics and collages made by the owner's wife.
