We have been hearing the names Marie dYvetôt, Anne de Frézeau, Julie de la Lorie for generations in our château, as these women were princesses of Gizeux. Since 2004, these names have also become the names of our guest house bedrooms.

Our bedrooms are elegantly furnished with antique pieces. Each room features a comfortable double bed sized 160*200 (or two beds sized 80*200, upon request), a charming fireplace, and a private bathroom with a spacious shower, two sinks, and a separate toilet.

Two of our bedrooms, connected by a small corridor, can be transformed into a family suite if needed.

To start your day with a delightful breakfast, we offer croissants and chocolate bread for a generous meal.

Introducing our charming retreat, the "Contades," named after the esteemed Général Marquis de Contades-Gizeux. Nestled within the magnificent chateau, this private sanctuary boasts its own separate entrance. Step inside to find a cozy haven awaiting you.

On the first floor, a well-equipped kitchen area awaits, complete with hotplates, an oven, and a fridge. Adjacent to this is a delightful dining room, perfect for sharing meals and creating cherished memories. Additionally, a spacious library and living room invites you to relax and unwind, complete with a comfortable loveseat to sink into.

Ascending to the second floor, a serene bedroom awaits, adorned with a plush double bed (or two single beds, if preferred). The adjacent bathroom and WC provide all the necessary amenities for your comfort.

For those desiring additional space, the Contades shelter can also grant access to the Julie de la Lorie suite on the ground floor. This suite offers a separate bedroom for two individuals, a charming boudoir that can accommodate an extra bed, and a magnificent bathroom.
