Description:

Description for B&B:

"The guesthouse 'Les Faverolles' is a charming bastide offering three comfortable guest rooms. Each room has its own separate entrance and provides a stunning view of the park. Kickstart your day with a delightful continental breakfast served in the park.

Outside, you'll find a lush green park with plenty of trees, a cozy seating area, a stone table, and a pergola, perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. You can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the swimming pool. Guests have access to a summer kitchen, which serves as a living room, equipped with a range of amenities including a refrigerator, washing machine, plancha, barbecue, microwave, and television, all available free of charge.

During your stay, don't miss the opportunity to visit the City of the Popes, where you can explore the magnificent Palais des Papes, the largest Gothic palace in Europe, and the famous Pont St Bénezet or Pont d'Avignon. There are also many other exceptional sites worth visiting, such as the Vaucluse plateau, the Luberon, Mont-Ventoux, the Camargue, Arles, the Baux de Provence, the Pont du Gard, Nîmes, and numerous other charming places.

Montfavet, once an agricultural area, is now a peaceful Provençal village, part of Avignon, offering extraordinary walks in the region and the chance to discover magnificent sites and monuments.

The name 'Les Faverolles' is a tribute to the hens that once resided here, and in this cozy guesthouse, you'll find your own little nest. We offer three guest rooms, including a family suite with park views, independent access, air conditioning, private bathroom, and toilet facilities.

In our wooded park, you can enjoy the swimming pool, various resting areas, comfortable armchairs, a stone table, a charming kiosk, and a designated living room space.

What sets this guesthouse apart is that under the same roof, you'll find the workshop of Amélie, her daughter, where traditional boxwood bead curtains are crafted. This workshop is the last of its kind in France, and Amélie will gladly share her family's passion for these boxwood pearls that were once found in every Provençal home.

Check-in is available from 4 p.m., and guests are kindly asked to check out by 11 a.m. If needed, an extra bed can be requested for an additional fee of 20 euros, breakfast included, for children aged 3 to 18. For adults, the fee is 40 euros, breakfast included. Additionally, there is a tourist tax of 0.83 euros per night, per adult."

Directions

To reach your destination, follow these revised travel directions: Take the A7 motorway and exit at "Avignon Sud". Continue on the motorway towards Avignon. At exit 8, proceed towards Montfavet. Instead of heading towards the church, turn right towards Morières Avignon, which will lead you onto Avenue des Vertes Rives. Keep going until you spot the "MONTFAVET" sign marking the end of the town. The first house on the left after this sign is your destination.
