Description:

Description for B&B:

St. John Commandery of Artin is a charming guest house that offers a unique living experience surrounded by court, cellars, and garden. Originally a hospital order of St. John of Jerusalem, this historical Commandery was transformed into a farm after the Revolution. Today, you can still witness the preserved barn, stables, barn, and bread oven dug into the rock.

Our four guest rooms, namely Aunis, Gamay, Jasnières, and Vouvray, pay homage to the richness of the vineyards that surround us. Additionally, we have a spacious family room called Jasnières, which can comfortably accommodate up to five people. Set in the old granary of the farm's main building, our guest rooms exude a sophisticated yet contemporary atmosphere with their exposed beams and polished plaster.

For those who relish a leisurely morning, we invite you to reserve a Sunday morning brunch filled with delectable delights. Additionally, upon request, we offer our guests the opportunity to join us for the "meal of the Commandery," where we create a friendly atmosphere to introduce you to our regional producers. Our passionate householder, who is well-versed in food and wine, takes pleasure in crafting delicious alternatives for our guests. Prepare to be amazed!

To enhance your stay, we provide a range of activities for our guests, including tasting courses, workshops, and sensory taste games suitable for all ages. These activities are designed to create memorable moments with your loved ones as you explore and indulge in the world of taste and wine. Immerse yourself in the art of wine tasting with our introduction to wine tasting sessions, featuring convenient and sensory tests that will expand your knowledge and allow you to savor delightful moments with friends.
