You can find us in the Upper Cecina Valley, a region known for its rich cultural heritage. Volterra, an important historical Etruscan city, serves as the main cultural center of the area, boasting remnants from Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance eras.Our recently restored stony farmstead is a prime example of Tuscan architecture. Situated in front of the ancient town of S.Dalmazio, just 700m away, this location was even featured in the romantic novel "Il taglio del bosco" by Carlo Cassola.
Located in the district of Pomarance, in the province of Pisa, our farmstead is nestled in the High Maremma Toscana region. This area is renowned for its stunning landscapes, ranging from wooded areas like Berignone Wood, Tatti, and Monterufoli Wood, to picturesque gullies, crags, and geysers.
Perched atop a 350m high hill, our farmstead offers a serene countryside experience. Spanning over 60 hectares of land, we cultivate organic wheat and olives.
At our establishment, we provide breakfast (B&B) and dinner (half-board) on our veranda, which offers a splendid view of the 12th century Rocca Sillana. This historical site is easily accessible by foot. Our meals feature exquisite Tuscan cuisine, incorporating fresh organic produce from our garden. Upon request, we can accommodate vegetarian preferences. Additionally, we exclusively use our own organic extra-virgin olive oil in our dishes and on our tables.

FROM THE NORTH (GENOVA - PARMA - LA SPEZIA)
Take Highway A12 (Genova-Rosignano) and exit at Rosignano. Continue on route "Variante Aurelia SS1" towards Grosseto, then take the exit for Cecina Nord. Follow Statale n° 68 towards Volterra and continue straight to Saline di Volterra. Turn right towards Pomarance. Once you pass the town, follow the signs for Larderello. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will see a sign indicating "Podere Apparita" on your right. Continue straight on that road for 300m and you will arrive at your destination.
FROM PISE AIRPORT
Take the FI-PI-LI highway towards Firenze and exit at the second exit for Pontedera. Follow the signs for Volterra until you reach Saline di Volterra. From there, proceed to Pomarance. After passing the town, follow the signs for Larderello. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will see a sign indicating "Podere Apparita" on your right. Go straight on that road for 300m and you will arrive at your destination.
FROM BOLOGNA- FIRENZE
Once you reach Firenze, take the exit for Firenze Impruneta and then take the highway towards Siena. Exit at Colle Val dElsa Sud (turn right). At the roundabout, continue towards Radicondoli - Grosseto for 10 km until you see a gas station "Total" on the left and the "La Speranza" restaurant on your right. Turn right after the restaurant and after 2 km, turn left towards Monteguidi. After a couple of km, turn right towards Pomarance. Pass through the towns of Monteguidi and Montecastelli and follow the road signs to San Dalmazio. After 3 km from Montecastelli, you will see the sign for our farmstead. It is located 300m ahead on the left.
FROM THE SOUTH (ROME)
Take the highway towards Civitavecchia and continue along the Aurelia highway. Exit at Cecina NORD. From there, take route Statale nr. 68 towards Volterra and continue straight to Saline di Volterra. Turn right towards Pomarance. Once you pass the town, follow the signs for Larderello. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio.
