Forest Edge is located at Lat: -33°5545.8S, Dec: -33.9294027642531; Lon: 22°5618.9E, Dec: 22.9385948181152. It is a 20-minute scenic drive from Knysna, taking you into the mountains and forest. Despite its proximity to amenities, it is far enough to escape the crowds, traffic, and congestion.
To reach Forest Edge from the N2 between Sedgefield and Knysna, follow these directions: Drive about 1.5km west of the Knysna lagoon bridge and turn north onto the Rheenendal road. After 11.5km, you will pass the Rheenendal Petrol Station. Take a right turn at the Bibbys Hoek sign. Continue on the dirt road for 2.2km and then turn left at the intersection. Keep driving for 1.5km, and you will find Forest Edge, the last property on this road. It offers the best tranquility experience. The dirt roads are suitable for small cars and are easily passable.
