Description:

Description for B&B:

Mas St Joseph, built in 1790, holds a rich history as the former living quarters for the nearby monastery. Today, the peach farm incorporates much of the original monastery, including additional farmhouse and barns, while the beautiful chapel resides on the opposite side. The mas still exudes a tranquil atmosphere, offering spacious rooms with stunning views of the peach orchards, hills, and mountains beyond. Traditional Catalan brocante items are showcased in the rooms and available for purchase.

On the ground floor, guests are welcomed into an entrance hallway adorned with exposed stonework and beams. A large refectory table allows for indoor meals when the weather doesn't permit outdoor dining. Two guest sitting rooms provide various amenities such as satellite TV, a granule burner (heater), desks, maps, regional information, and an electric cool box. The larger sitting room also features a DVD player. French doors lead out to a Moroccan-style patio/courtyard with a barbecue and seating area on one side, and a swimming pool with additional seating on the other. Guests are free to choose their preferred breakfast spot.

We offer three bedrooms and a self-contained studio, each with a newly renovated en-suite shower and toilet. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and satellite television. Room rates include a generous continental breakfast, with the option of picnic lunches and evening meals upon request.

Chambre de l'Abbé:

This room, formerly occupied by the abbot when the Mas was a monastery, offers a sunny atmosphere with breathtaking views of the peach orchards and Les Aspres, the tree-covered hills to the South. It features a comfortable antique double bed and a standard TV with satellite channels. Please note that the en-suite shower/WC room is compact and may not be suitable for larger guests.

- Low Season (Oct-Mar): $80/night
- Shoulder Season (Apr-Jun): $90/night
- High Season (Jul-Sep): $100/night

This double room showcases exposed stone work and provides views towards Mount Canigou, the sacred mountain of Catalonia. Facing south, this room is filled with natural light and offers the same stunning views as the Chambre de l'Abbé. It features a super King size bed, a writing desk, a big screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, and a spacious en-suite shower room and WC. This room can also be configured with twin single beds upon request.

With a sofa bed in the main room, the maximum capacity is five persons. The studio also features a compact shower room/WC, a dining table, and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and electric kettle (no stove or oven). Additional amenities include a wide screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, a pull-down cinema screen, a ceiling-mounted digital projector, and a small library with two comfortable sofas. Mas chaleureux
Review by: Sylviane Serra, Juin 14 2019 3:27PM
Hôtes très accueillants, ils font tout pour que l'on se sente bien. L'endroit est magnifique, les petits petits-déjeuners au top, la literie de qualité. On peut s'installer confortablement autour de la piscine. Il y a tout pour passer un séjour magique.
