Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry warmly invite you to experience the utmost comfort and luxury of their breathtaking 19th-century Chateau. Situated in the charming village of Salechan, nestled at the base of the Pyrenean Mountains, this meticulously restored haven offers five spacious and opulent rooms, each boasting en-suite facilities and stunning mountain views. Constructed in 1873, the three-story house is set back from the Route Nationale, ensuring complete seclusion and privacy. The front of the house exudes grandeur with its magnificent marble columns and balcony. Inside, a sweeping staircase, original parquet flooring, and a unique marble fireplace in every room await your discovery.

Our enchanting rooms are named after the picturesque views they bestow. The Chambre St Julien, located at the front of the house, entices you to step onto its two private balconies, one of which overlooks the Pyrenees and the beautiful Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This south-facing room is generously proportioned, exuding character with its lovingly restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and stunning marble fireplace. Its bathroom, equipped with a bath and shower, also opens onto a private south-facing balcony.

Also commanding attention at the front of the house is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. With its majestic balcony and awe-inspiring views of Pic du Gar, this centrally positioned room offers both comfort and serenity. The room boasts a spacious layout, high ceiling, and exquisite wooden floor. Guests particularly favor its original fireplace and tasteful neutral decor.

Chambre Pic du Gar also features a sizable en-suite with a walk-in shower that spans the length of the room. Double doors open onto a private balcony, further enhancing the allure of this splendid room.

Start your day by joining us for breakfast in our beautifully wood-paneled dining room. With the option to open the doors onto a tiled terrace during the summer months, this stunning setting provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying a sumptuous continental breakfast, ensuring an excellent start to your day.

In the evening, we invite you to return for a delightful meal in our dining room, graced by a Louis 13th chandelier. By prior arrangement, you can indulge in a three-course dinner featuring local delicacies. Your host for the evening, a seasoned caterer, will ensure an unforgettable dining experience. As one recent guest exclaimed, our dining room is considered the finest in the area.

Your meal will be accompanied by a choice of red or white wine, as well as coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. For families with young children, we are happy to arrange an earlier dining time to accommodate their routines.
