Description for B&B:

La Vayssade has been a family-owned property for four generations. Located on the outskirts of Lalbenque, this charming collection of buildings showcases the traditional architecture of Quercy and sits on a 10-hectare plot of truffle oaks, showcasing the natural beauty of the Causse region.

Our Guest House, which is our own home, is housed in a meticulously restored monumental barn that seamlessly blends modern and traditional construction techniques. The architectural design was expertly executed by Michel Montal from Cahors.

As soon as you step inside, you will be captivated by the unique and personalized touches throughout the premises. The stylish decor, spacious living room, contemporary fireplace, and open kitchen create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Joelle, Hélène, Pierre, and Emmanuel are dedicated to ensuring your stay is unforgettable. They will introduce you to the local cuisine and share their original recipes, as well as provide insights into the region's highlights.

During the summer, guests can enjoy the terrace under the arbor, explore the park and garden, and take a refreshing dip in the pool or relax at the nearby beach. Additionally, we offer six bicycles free of charge (subject to availability and a deposit) for those who wish to explore the surroundings.

For the colder seasons, the house is equipped with central heating and a fireplace, perfect for cozy social evenings. Winter is also an ideal time to discover the secrets of the Black Diamond during our Weekend Truffle experience, which includes a truffle-themed dinner, a slideshow presentation, a truffle hunt, and a visit to the famous Lalbenque truffle market.
