Our property has received a prestigious 3-star rating from the renowned "Gites de France" association.To ensure your convenience, the owners Paul and Caty are fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
The property boasts 4 elegant and spacious en-suite bedrooms, including a family room that can accommodate up to four guests. In total, we can accommodate up to 10 people at a time. All rooms are equipped with an internet connection, a flat screen TV (with French channels only), and a complimentary refreshments tray with tea, coffee, water, and biscuits.
Our rates include a delicious breakfast, served between 07.30 and 10.00 am in the cozy lounge. Weather permitting, breakfast can also be enjoyed outdoors on the patio.
Check-in is from 4.00 to 7.00 pm, and check-out is at 11.00 am on the day of departure.
You can unwind and take pleasure in our extensive mature garden, featuring a variety of fruit trees and a terrace area for delightful alfresco dining. We also offer entertainment options such as a pool table, table tennis table, and board games. Our courtyard can accommodate up to four vehicles at a time.
There are numerous attractions to explore in the vicinity, including Compiègne and Pierrefonds with their magnificent castles. (The famous BBC series "MERLIN" is filmed at the Pierrefonds castle). Additionally, you can visit the Armistice museum, the Vic dungeon, and various memorial sites and museums dedicated to the First World War. The town of Soissons, home to a stunning cathedral, is just a 20-minute drive away.
Nature enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the vast 14,400-hectare Compiègne forest, either on foot, by bicycle, or on horseback. There are also several fishing lakes nearby, with two located less than one mile away in Attichy. Fishing competitions take place throughout the year, and daily permits can be purchased from the property owners. Furthermore, the area is dotted with enchanting 12th-century churches, including one in Bitry.
Our property is conveniently located just a 50-minute drive from Eurodisney, Parc Asterix, Charles de Gaulle, and Beauvais airports.
