Description for B&B:

La Maison des Lys is a Maison de Maître, a merchants house constructed in 1817, conveniently located just 200 meters from the town square in Valence sur Baïse. This charming bastide village, dating back to 1274, sits atop a bluff overlooking the River Baïse, while being a mere 8 km away from the Armagnac market town of Condom. Within a short drive, guests will find an abundance of historical sites, wineries, and picturesque towns and villages to explore.

Our establishment boasts four spacious bedrooms, each featuring a stylish modern bath or shower room. Most mornings, guests can enjoy breakfast in the tranquil shade of the gardens east-facing terrace, nestled within the town's ramparts. The breakfast spread includes a selection of orange juice, cereals, soft-boiled farm eggs with crusty French bread from Valences artisan bakers, freshly baked croissants and pains au chocolat, accompanied by creamy butter and homemade jams. A choice of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate is also available to kick-start the day.

We take pride in offering personalized guidance to our guests, providing them with individual routes to explore and ensuring they make the most of this beautiful region of France. Immerse yourself in the peaceful lifestyle of gently rolling hills covered in vineyards, fields adorned with sunflowers, and a plethora of ancient and historic houses, villages, and towns that dot the landscape.
