La Pierre Plantée is situated in the picturesque Dordogne Valley, perfectly nestled between the charming towns of Souillac and Martel. Resting peacefully by a serene walking lane, our location is incredibly tranquil.

We have the capacity to accommodate up to four individuals, offering a comfortable double bedroom and a cozy twin bedroom. During the winter months, each room is equipped with central heating for added warmth and comfort. Guests have access to a convenient shower room and toilet, as well as a designated dining area. Additionally, complimentary Wi-Fi is available for our guests' convenience.

Our expansive garden boasts a generous terrace area, perfect for unwinding and enjoying leisurely picnics. For added convenience, there is also access to an outdoor fridge. During the summer season, breakfast is served on the terrace, allowing guests to indulge in a delightful meal accompanied by homemade bread and jams.

Directions

Directions from Souillac A20 exit:

To reach Martel, take the D803 (D703) road for approximately 4.5km (2.7 miles). When you see the second turning to Le Pigeon Haut, make a left turn. There will be signs for La Pierre Plantée and Le Saulou. On the corner, you'll notice an old white citerne tank.

Directions from Martel:

To return to Souillac, take the D803 (D703) road for about 7km (4.2 miles). When you come across the turning to Le Pigeon Haut, make a right turn. Look for signs indicating La Pierre Plantée and Le Saulou. On the corner, there is an old white citerne tank.

Follow these steps to reach the house:

1. From the main road, it is approximately 2.5km (1.5 miles) to the house. Continue past the turning that leads to Le Saulou garden nursery for about 1.5km (1 mile), going around a few bends.

2. At the crossroads signposted Bazalgues, proceed straight across and around a slight bend until you reach the first turning on your left.

3. Make a left turn, following the sign for La Pierre Plantée, and stay left at the next fork in the road.

4. Keep going for a short distance until the road ends, and a track begins.

5. Take the left path, which is signposted La Pierre Plantée, and continue until you reach the house at the end.
