Located just 1 km away from the magnificent Fontainebleau Forest, and only 12 km from the charming towns of Fontainebleau, Nemours, and Milly la Forêt, our property is perfectly situated. Additionally, we are conveniently situated next to two internationally renowned climbing sites: "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons."

Welcome to Le Clos du Tertre, a beautifully restored farmhouse that dates back to before the French Revolution. On the first floor, you will find three cozy bedrooms, each with its own private shower room. Downstairs, we provide a spacious 27 m2 room for our guests, equipped with a mini fridge, sink, and microwave for your convenience.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and enjoy our Table d'Hôtes, both of which are served in our hosts' living room, offering a picturesque bay window view. Furthermore, we also offer a country gite on our property, which can accommodate up to 4 guests.

To ensure a comfortable stay, our hosts are fluent in English and we provide a private car park for our guests. Please note that we do not accept pets.

Situated next to two internationally renowned climbing sites, namely "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons," our gite is housed in a historic farmhouse that dates back to before the French Revolution. Attached to the landlords' house, who also operate three charming guest rooms, "Le Gîte Clos du Tertre" offers a cozy living-dining room with a fireplace and television, a fully equipped American kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, and a convenient shower room with a toilet. Our hospitable hosts are fluent in English and offer a private car park for your convenience. Please note that pets are not accepted.

Directions

To reach the destination, which is located 12 km South-West of Fontainebleau, you have several options:

By Car:
- If you are coming from the A6 Motorway, take Exit N°14 called "Ury - Malesherbes". Turn right onto N152 towards Orléans and continue driving for 3 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine.
- Alternatively, if you are already in Fontainebleau, head towards the "Obélisque round-about" and take the N152 towards Orléans. Drive for 12 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine. At the second traffic light on N152, turn left onto D16 towards "Nemours-Larchant". Then, take the second road on your left. Your destination, Le Clos du Tertre, is located at stand N°6 on this road called "Chemin des Vallées".

By Train:
- If you prefer to travel by train, the Saint-Pierre les Nemours Train Station is 12 km away from the destination. It is possible for your hosts to pick you up from this train station. Another option is the Fontainebleau Train Station, which is 15 km away.

By Air:
- If you are arriving by air, Orly Airport is located 60 km away from the destination, while Charles de Gaulle Airport is 100 km away.
