Description:

Description for B&B:

Allow us to introduce ourselves: Annemieke van Balen and Joost Meulendijks.

Back in Holland, Annemieke worked as a handicrafts teacher while Joost held a position as an insurance agent. However, we both began to feel a growing desire for adventure, a new start, and a different way of life.

As lovers of social interaction, we thoroughly enjoy making others happy. This led us to quickly develop the idea of establishing a "chambres d'hôtes" (bed and breakfast). Our search for the perfect location took us to a region that offered untouched natural beauty for hiking, winter activities, and a non-touristy atmosphere. In Cantal, Auvergne, France, we discovered our ideal place. In December 1999, we purchased our "grange" (barn) and in May 2001, we officially opened our "chambres d'hôtes."

We are delighted to have taken this exhilarating step in our lives.

Appréciations pour Grange de La Bastide, Laveissiere:

Un coin de paradis !
Review by: Gadebois, Sep 10 2020 1:11PM
