Description for B&B:

Situated between the medieval bastion of Mirepoix and the fortified village of Camon, under the watchful gaze of Château de Lagarde, lies Sibra - an ancient farmer complex that has been meticulously restored to meet the highest standards of comfort. Inside this enchanting property, we invite you to discover our guesthouse, 'Mi-René', where you can escape for a truly delightful holiday or rejuvenating mini-break, any time of the year.

Mirepoix itself is a charming little town that comes alive during the summer months, as its streets are closed off to traffic, enhancing the allure of its historic arcades, inviting terraces, and picturesque squares. On Mondays, the town hosts a vibrant market day, an unmissable event that draws a multitude of visitors.

Your host, René Vanden Avenne, is dedicated to ensuring your stay is nothing short of exceptional. Assisting him part-time is Rose-Mary, the beloved wife who adds her own touch of warmth and hospitality to your unforgettable sojourn.

Directions

Upon reaching Mirepoix, proceed in all directions until you have exited the town. From there, continue following the signs for Lavelanet for a few kilometers. Upon reaching the entrance of La Bastide de Bousignac village, make a left turn towards Chalabre, Camon, and Château de Lagarde. Stay on this road until you reach a sharp right turn. At this point, leave Lagarde on your left and take the D307 road a few hundred yards further to the right. From here, Sibra will come into view, indicating that you are almost there. Take the first small road on the left, which will be marked with a sign for SIBRA. Continue on this road until you reach our gate and guesthouse, Mi-René.
