Le Clou is located in the idyllic village of Thiezac, just a short 20-minute drive from the renowned ski station of Le Lioran. Guests staying at Le Clou have convenient access to the ski slopes via snowshoes.

This charming mountain retreat features five cozy rooms, as well as a romantic dining and living area adorned with a grand wood-burning fireplace. Additionally, we offer a separate fully-equipped gite and chalet, complete with its own kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace.

Perched at an altitude of 1098 meters, the house offers breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains. During the summer months, guests can unwind in the garden while taking in the stunning mountain vista. Even during winter, on sunny days, you can still enjoy the garden's tranquil ambiance.

To complete your stay, indulge in an evening meal featuring the delectable Cantal cheese, adding a flavorful touch to your dining experience.

Magnifique cadre en pleine nature , randonnées à proximité ( nous sommes restés 5 jours sans prendre la voiture )

Nous avons passé un agréablement moment en famille. Le gite offre une très belle vue avec un paysage sous la neige magnifique! Le confort est là avec une location tres bien équipée.
Mention spéciale pour les nouveaux propriétaires aux petits soins pour nous.
Merci à Cyrille (et à Alain le voisin) pour leur gentillesse.

Rien de plus reposant que le cadre magnifique de cette maison d'hôtes où laccueil attentionné de Jan et Trijnie n'a d'égal que le paysage somptueux et la qualité de la table d'hôtes !
Endroit à découvrir et à recommander sans aucune hésitation ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix à noter car c'est rare...

Directions to Le Clou:

There is a train station in Vic sur Cère, on the Aurillac-Saint Flour or Aurillac-Clermont Ferrand route.

For a small fee, you can take the train-taxi from Vic-sur-Cère to Le Clou.

From Clermont-Ferrand Airport (Aulnat) or Aurillac:

The buses from T2C at the airport (line 10) go to the Clermont-Ferrand train station.

The schedules are available on the website www.t2c.fr.

There are direct trains several times a day from Clermont-Ferrand to Vic sur Cère (starting from €20.70 per person, duration: about 2 hours).

By car, take the Aurillac exit on the Clermont Ferrand-Montpellier highway. Coming from Murat (N122) (from the Clermont-Ferrand-Montpellier highway), take the Thiézac exit. Cross the village and about 0.5 km after the village, turn right at the uphill cemetery (D59).

Coming from Aurillac (N122), take the Thiézac exit, after the village, near the cemetery, turn left (D59).

Follow the signs for Leclou-Trielle and after 5 km on a mountain paved road, you will arrive at our place. In winter, the road is regularly cleared, but it is necessary to equip your car with snow tires or chains.
