Description for B&B:

Located in the heart of Calais town, just a stone's throw away from the theater, Le Cercle de Malines invites you to experience the elegance of a former lace making residence. Originally built in 1884 and meticulously renovated in 2007 to mirror its original construction, this sophisticated establishment offers a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary decor, creating an ambiance of tranquility and serenity.

The lounge area boasts plush armchairs, comfortable sofas, and a cozy fireplace. Adorned with 19th century decorations and corresponding art exhibitions, including paintings, sculptures, and photographs, the lounge exudes an air of timeless charm. Additionally, guests can enjoy the billiard room, complete with a 19th century French billiard table, or relax in the breakfast room, featuring contemporary furnishings and original creations inspired by Calais lace making.

Outside, a charming garden beckons, while inside, each room has been thoughtfully refurbished in a refined style influenced by our travels, preserving the essence of the place and era. All rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, complete with showers and some with thermal baths, as well as toilets and hairdryers. A courtesy tray with a selection of tea, herbal teas, and coffee is provided, along with a comfortable lounge corner and complimentary internet access via WIFI.
