Bergheim, with its population of 1,800, is renowned for its picturesque beauty, earning it a prestigious "4 flowers" rating from a National Jury. The town's half-timbered houses and vibrant fortified walls adorned with medieval towers make it a captivating tourist destination. Moreover, the exceptional wines produced in our vineyards are known for their powerful and long-lasting flavors.

Within our village, you will find various recreational activities such as a bike path, soccer fields, tennis courts, a roller skating rink, mini golf, basketball, and even a fishing pond. For nature enthusiasts, there are numerous hiking trails to explore. Additionally, Bergheim offers convenient services and shops, including a pharmacy, bakery, grocery store, press, library, tourism information center, as well as a selection of charming inns and restaurants.

Situated on the famous Wine Route, Bergheim enjoys a tranquil setting and is conveniently located halfway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse (50km), and a short distance of fifteen miles from Colmar.
