Description:

Description for B&B:

Located in the western Loire, just south of Normandy, the château de Mirvault is surrounded by fields and copses and sits in the middle of a park that leads down to the banks of the Mayenne river. The entrance to the château is a beautiful tree-lined drive, where red squirrels and rabbits can often be spotted. For fishing enthusiasts, there is a nearby barrage that offers a great spot for fishing, and we provide a boat for leisurely trips along the river, passing through picturesque locks. Our family has owned this château since the 16th century, and it is not only a historic property but also a beloved home filled with a sense of contentment and continuity. Conveniently located near various channel ports, we are only 20 kilometers away from Laval, a short 45-minute drive from Angers, and just an hour away from the famous racing circuit at Le Mans and some of the renowned Loire châteaux. For those traveling from Paris, our location is only a three-hour drive away.
