Description for Gite

Welcome to our 3-star gite in the Ardèche region. Our gite is located in the charming hamlet of Le Monteil, overlooking the beautiful Beaume valley and the Tanargue massif. The setting is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation, surrounded by traditional architecture and breathtaking landscapes.

Our historic house, dating back to 1490, has been meticulously renovated to provide a comfortable and inviting home away from home. The main part of the house serves as our family holiday home, while the rest has been transformed into an independent holiday rental accommodation, our welcoming gite.

The gite can accommodate up to 4 people, with the possibility of accommodating a baby or toddler. Inside, you will find modern comforts combined with original stone walls. The gite spans two levels and covers 85 m² of living space.

On the ground floor, there is a spacious living area with an open-plan kitchen that opens onto a patio, a functional bathroom with a bath and shower attachment, a separate toilet, and a large French door providing independent access. Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms with washbasins, separated by a landing.

The gite is equipped with electric heating, double-glazed windows, and a ventilation system to ensure a comfortable stay throughout the year. Hot water is provided by an electric storage water heater.

Prices for the gite vary depending on the season. In high season (July and August), the rate is 700 EUR per week. In mid-season (June and September), the rate is 470 EUR per week. In low season (October to May), the rate is 350 EUR per week. A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking, and a refundable damage deposit of 300 EUR is requested upon arrival.

Included in the rental price are electricity and water bills, as well as bed linen, dishcloths, and towels for 4 people. We also provide basic equipment for babies or toddlers free of charge, such as a cot, high chair, pram, and bath. Additional services, such as cleaning at the end of your stay or winter heating, are available for an extra charge.

Parking is available nearby, and there is a loading zone just 25 meters away for easy access to the gite.
