Description for Gite

We offer the rental of five cozy gites, suitable for groups of 2 to 8 people. Each gite features comfortable bedrooms located on the first floor, along with a fully equipped kitchenette, electrical heating, and additional sofa-beds in the living room. You will also have access to your own bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Our gites are located within a beautifully restored farmhouse, surrounded by a large garden and a refreshing swimming pool. We warmly welcome groups and are fluent in English to ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests.

Situated alongside the picturesque "canal lateral," which stretches from the Mediterranean Sea (canal du midi) to near Bordeaux (canal latéral), Les Messauts is nestled in an area renowned for its vineyards, chateaux, medieval towns, historic monuments, museums, and stunning gardens. This region hosts vibrant music and dance festivals, lively markets, and charming brocantes.

For those seeking tranquility, our location offers ample opportunities for golfing, cycling, horse riding, walking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming. A visit to one of the nearby vineyards to indulge in wine tasting and purchase fine wines is an absolute must. Some of the famous wine regions in close proximity include the Graves, Sauternais, Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Entre Deux Mers, Première Côtes de Bordeaux, Côtes de Bergerac, and Monbazillac.

Le domaine est grand et peut accueillir beaucoup de personnes. Idéal pour fête familiale, anniversaires, etc...

Directions

To access "Les Messauts," follow these travel directions:

1. Take the exit number 4 towards La Réole from the A62 (Bordeaux - Toulouse) motorway.
2. Continue on the D9 road in the direction of La Réole for approximately 3.5 km.
3. After 3.5 km, make a left turn onto the D224 road towards Loupiac de la Réole / Blaignac.
4. After passing Loupiac, continue for about 500 m and then make a right turn onto the D224 road.
5. Upon reaching Blaignac, make a right turn just before the church.
6. Look out for signs that indicate "Les Messauts - gites" and follow them.
7. When you approach the canal, you will see Domaine Les Messauts on the opposite side. Turn left, then right to cross the bridge.
8. Immediately after crossing the bridge, make another right turn. You have now arrived at "Les Messauts."
