Directions

There are several important cities in the area, including Carcassonne, Perpignan, and Toulouse. To reach Espéraza from Carcassonne, you can take a 50-kilometer drive heading south on the N118 through Limoux and Couiza. Alternatively, there is a rail link and coach service available from the airport. Ryanair offers cheap flights from Stansted to Carcassonne, especially during the low season, and car rental services are available at the airport.

From Perpignan, Espéraza is located 70 kilometers northwest near the Spanish border. To get there, you can drive west on the D117 to Quillan, then take the D118 northwards and turn left towards Espéraza. There is also a coach service available from Perpignan. Ryanair also operates flights from Stansted to Perpignan, with affordable options during midweek in the low season. Car rental services are available at the airport.

If you are coming from Toulouse, Espéraza is approximately an hour and a half's drive away. Toulouse has an international airport, and you can reach it from London Heathrow via British Airways, London Gatwick via Air France, or London Stansted via Buzz (offering cheap mid-week flights). From Toulouse, you can head towards Carcassonne by car, rail, or coach, and then continue following the directions mentioned above.
