The Great Doudou is a charming family guesthouse that can accommodate 2-6 people without the need for separate rooms. There is an additional adjoining room with a private bathroom for two people. This room is strictly non-smoking.The guesthouse features a spacious living room with a cozy reading area and a fireplace. There are two single beds in the living room. The bathroom and toilet are separate and independent.
In the attic loft, there is a private and intimate sleeping area with two single beds separated by curtains in soothing tones. The decoration of the guesthouse is a blend of high-quality materials, antique furniture, and contemporary elements.
Complimentary tea and coffee are provided, and there is also a refrigerator available for guests to use. Additionally, there is WIFI access.
The entrance to the guestroom is separate from the main house, and guests have their own private garden area with a table, chairs, and sun loungers for relaxation. You will only be disturbed by the pleasant sounds of birds chirping, leaves rustling in the wind, and the soothing melody of locusts during your peaceful rest.
During the autumn season, the beautiful red and ochre landscapes offer delight to nature lovers. Guests can also enjoy mushroom picking, collecting nuts and chestnuts, and walking on countless layers of fallen leaves.
In the winter, when the snow blankets the area, guests can engage in cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at two magnificent estates located just 8 km away. There are also toboggan runs, a mini ski slope with a ski lift for children, and two snow tubing tracks for the more adventurous.
As spring arrives, nature awakens, and it becomes the perfect time for biking on designated trails (green, blue, red, or black), hiking, playing a round of golf at the nearby 18-hole golf course (10 minutes away), trying out a via ferrata (15 minutes away), enjoying tree climbing activities (5 minutes away), or visiting local craft shops.
The whole family, including our pets named Pompon, Lolita, Snowflake, Dora, and Idée Fixe, are excited to welcome you to our peaceful haven in the heart of the Regional Park of Pilat.
If you wish, you can also join us for an evening meal and savor the delicious products sourced directly from nature.

Directions
When you leave Bourg Argental, drive 2.5 km and then make a left turn, following the speed limit of 50 km/h. Take the road below (Argental) and continue for two kilometers. You will pass the farm of Faurie. After 800m, take the path on your left (The Boisdelles). Continue uphill until you reach your destination.
After passing the Republic, you will reach the inn of large wood. Instead of staying on the road, take the Holy Savior road in front of you, which leads into the woods. Follow this road for 6 km. When you reach the "Pras," make a sharp left turn. After 2.7 km, take the path on the right (The Boisdelles). Continue uphill until you reach your destination.
