Description for B&B:

Welcome to our guest house nestled among the olive trees in Balagne.

If you're looking to explore the beauty of Balagne while being close to Calvi and the red island, Calenzana is the perfect choice. Only 15 minutes away from Calvi and 25 minutes from Ile Rousse, you can wander through the charming streets of Calvi and its citadel, relax on the nearby beaches, or venture a little further to discover paradisiacal white sand beaches with turquoise waters like Ghjunchitu, Bodri, Ostriconi, and Lozari near the red island.

Alternatively, you can enjoy the tranquility of our property, relaxing by the pool and on the private terrace of our spacious double rooms. Each room, with a size of 30 m2, can accommodate up to 3 people and features a comfortable 180/200 double bed, a convertible single bed, a large flat-screen TV, and wifi. The rooms also have a 15 m2 terrace with private garden furniture.

We provide a dedicated space for our guests, equipped with a lounge area, board games, table football, a dining area, and a small kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. Outdoor activities include petanque, a swing, and a slide. The pool is equipped with a security system that includes an audible alarm and a gate for access.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast served under the Pergolat, offering stunning views of the nearby villages and mountains. You'll enjoy homemade pastries, local products, fresh fruit, and Corsican deli meats. In case of inclement weather, breakfast will be served in the Pool House, where guests can also have access throughout the day to prepare coffee and tea.

Calenzana is not only known as the starting point of the GR 20 long-distance trail and the Mare e Monti, but also for its rich heritage and history. Visit the village's church and bell tower or explore the main square, where 500 German soldiers were buried under the steeple. Don't miss the Chapel of the Holy Restitude, where a 4th-century sarcophagus was discovered beneath the altar. Nearby, you can also explore charming villages like Montemaggiore and SantAntonino, classified as some of the most beautiful villages in France. Make sure to visit the ghost village of Oporto, which offers breathtaking views of the entire bay of Calvi and the marina of Sant Ambrogio, accessible via a small path from the village of Lumio.

Our privileged location also grants you access to a wide range of activities. Whether you're interested in water sports and diving, horseback riding and hiking, mountain biking, 4x4 adventures, quad biking, or sea excursions, our region offers endless possibilities for outdoor enthusiasts.
