The Manoir de Malagorse is located in the picturesque countryside of the Lot, just outside the small village of Rignac. The charming medieval village of Martel is a short 10-minute drive away and offers a delightful selection of restaurants and shops. The Manoir is perfectly situated for exploring both the Dordogne Valley, with its attractions such as Sarlat, Domme, and Chateau de Beynac, as well as the historic sites of the Lot, including Rocamadour, Gouffre de Padirac, and Carennac.

The Manoir itself is filled with light and decorated with furniture and objects sourced from local Brocante markets. The kitchen serves as the heart of the house, featuring a handmade cooking range and a large farmhouse table for hosting memorable evenings when the weather doesn't permit outdoor dining. Breakfast is a sumptuous affair, offering fresh juice, fruit, homemade yogurts and musli, freshly baked croissants and brioche, homemade jams, and aromatic coffees and teas. Dinner, served outside in the courtyard if weather permits, is a four-course meal. Anna takes pride in setting a delightful table with crisp antique linen, fresh flowers, and plenty of candles. Abel focuses on using the freshest produce and creating light, aromatic dishes with a touch of Provence.

The living room provides a great space to unwind, with leather armchairs and an interesting selection of coffee books to enjoy. The Manoir offers five individually designed bedrooms, each thoughtfully decorated with sumptuous French fabrics and locally sourced furnishings. The rooms vary in size and character but all provide the comforts of home, including fresh garden flowers, crisp white bedlinen, fluffy bathrobes, and luxurious toiletries from Coté Bastide.

In addition to the main house, there is also an independent building called the Four à Pain (The Bakery), which was the original bakery for the estate. It is filled with original features, including a vaulted oven, and offers a unique and cozy atmosphere.

The Manoir is set in 3 hectares of peaceful countryside with stunning views. The swimming pool is located in a large meadow and surrounded by comfortable teak sunbeds. There is also an elevated terrace with teak furniture, perfect for enjoying afternoon tea or an early aperitif.

Canoeing down the Dordogne River is a popular choice, with the opportunity to visit historic sites and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Anna and Abel can even arrange a gastronomic picnic to enhance the experience. The region is rich in historical sites and natural beauty, with attractions such as Chateau Castelnaud, Beynac, Les Grottes de Cazelle, and Gouffre de Padirac. The medieval towns of Sarlat and Domme are also worth a visit, as well as the famous cliffside village of Rocamadour. Garden enthusiasts will appreciate the range of gardens available to visit, including Les Jardins du Manoir d'Eyrignac, Les Jardins du Chateau de Marqueyssac, Les Jardins de L'Imaginaire Terrasson, and Les Jardins du Chateau de Hautefort.

Families will find entertainment at the animal park in Gramat or the prehistoric park in Rocamadour. Inés and Louis, the owners' children, have tested these attractions themselves and can provide advice on what to do.

Welcome to Le Loft de Malagorse,

This charming 110m2 barn conversion is beautifully situated within the picturesque courtyard of Malagorse.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy dining space. Step out onto your private terrace and bask in the tranquility of the garden.

As you ascend to the first floor, you will discover two inviting bedrooms. One boasts a luxurious rolltop bath and a walk-in shower, while the other offers a spacious walk-in shower.

The first floor also features a generously sized open plan living area, perfect for relaxation and entertainment.

To start your day on a delightful note, enjoy the convenience of fresh bread and croissants delivered each morning. For an additional fee of 15 euros per person, you can also indulge in a delicious breakfast at the nearby Manoir.
