Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Gers, just 30 km from Auch and 90 km from Toulouse in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France, La Taupinière offers a tranquil retreat. Situated on the first floor of a beautifully restored half-timbered farm dating back to 1740, this cozy cottage has been upgraded with solar panels for an eco-friendly touch.

You'll have your own private entrance to this peaceful hideaway. Step outside onto the expansive covered wooden terrace, furnished with comfortable acacia furniture, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, garden, and pond.

Inside, you'll find a range of high-quality amenities to enhance your stay. The cottage is well-equipped with modern conveniences, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, ice cube maker, and more. The bathroom features a corner bath for a luxurious soak after a day of exploring.

The sleeping arrangements consist of a main bedroom with a double bed on the mezzanine level. Additionally, there is a second bedroom located in a cozy Eastern Pavilion just in front of the main cottage's terrace. This pavilion offers two twin beds and includes dry compostable toilets.

Prices vary depending on the season, ranging from 290 to 595 euros per week. These rates include water, electricity, air conditioning (cooling and heating), bed linen, towels, household linen, WiFi, and the use of two bicycles. For those planning an extended stay, we offer a 10% discount on consecutive weeks.

Please note that there is a 50 euro charge for end-of-stay cleaning and Covid sanitization, payable in cash on-site.

Our beautiful garden features a large pond, providing a serene backdrop for relaxation. For a more detailed look at our accommodations, photos, videos, availability, and rates for different periods, please visit our website.
