Il Monticello is a charming and character-filled stone villa located on the Plascassier hill near Grasse, the renowned perfume capital of the world. Only 20 minutes away from Nice's international airport and a mere 15 minutes from Cannes, this privately owned villa offers a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. With three comfortable bedrooms, each featuring a private bathroom and two boasting terraces, guests are sure to find comfort and tranquility. Surrounded by a spacious Provencal garden teeming with flowers and shaded areas, the villa provides a stunning view, a large swimming pool, and private parking. Despite its serene ambiance, everything one could desire is within reach, including 7 golf courses, tennis courts, horseback riding facilities, shops, and a nearby railway station. For those requiring modern amenities, high-speed internet access is available through a wireless LAN (WiFi). Additionally, the staff is fluent in both English and German. Il Monticello
The B&B is well located in a beautiful setting, close to the city but still very quiet. Everything is tastefully decorated. Gucky, the owner, makes you feel at home.
Directions
To get to our house, follow these travel directions:
1. Take the A8 toll way and exit at junction 42. Look for signs indicating CANNES-CENTRE, MOUANS-SARTOUX, MOUGINS, LE CANNET, and GRASSE.
2. Once off the toll way, follow the N85 road, also known as LA PENETRANTE, in the direction of GRASSE.
3. Leave the N85 at the MOUANS-SARTOUX exit. At the exit roundabout, take the first right onto ROUTE DE LA ROQUETTE, heading towards MOUANS-SARTOUX.
4. Continue along ROUTE DE LA ROQUETTE until you reach the end of the street. There will be a roundabout and a MAC DONALD restaurant on your right.
5. Turn left onto N2085/AVENUE DE CANNES. Stay on this street and pass a small roundabout just after the LA STRADA movie theatre.
6. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto Avenue MARCEL JOUMET.
7. Keep driving until you come across a railway. Immediately after the railway, make a left turn onto the D404 road in the direction of PLASCASSIER and VALBONNE.
8. After the second curve, you will leave MOUANS-SARTOUX and see a city limits sign. Look for a small concrete lane separator in the middle of the road and turn left onto CHEMIN DU PLAN.
9. Continue on CHEMIN DU PLAN, and after 1.5 km, the street name will change to CHEMIN DU COLLET DE ST MARC.
10. Keep driving until you reach number 77 on your right. It will be just after a hangar/shed on the left side of the road.
11. Take the lane on the right and drive all the way up for 200 meters. Our house, an old stone house, will be located at the end of the lane on the left side.
