Description for B&B:

The island of Désirade, located off Guadeloupe, can be reached by a 30-minute boat ride from St. Francis. The Blue House is situated in Baie-Mahault, the last village before the port where the boats depart. The island stretches 12 km in length and is 2 km wide, with only one road running alongside the gently sloping mountain towards the sea, while the other side is steep. Désirade is a tranquil getaway, far away from the hustle and bustle of the world, with its serene beauty and friendly locals. The constant trade winds provide a refreshing breeze that permeates the house. The house itself is surrounded by a fully blooming garden, enclosed for privacy. It is located 400 m from the beach, which is protected by a coral reef stretching 300 m into the sea. The sandy bottom creates a calm pool-like area of approximately 15,000 m2. The beach is adorned with coconut palms, offering shade, while the golden sand, pleasant wind, and gentle heat create a sense of relaxation and well-being.
