Welcome to Simply Canvas, where you can enjoy a unique and luxurious camping experience or stay in one of our charming self-catering cottages/gites. Located in the beautiful countryside near Bergerac in Southwest France, our property features a stunning enclosed swimming pool and breathtaking views. We are now accepting bookings for the 2017 season.

Our 6 safari tents offer the perfect glamping experience, complete with private bathrooms and comfortable boxspring beds that will make camping a truly enjoyable experience. Alternatively, you can choose from our three spacious cottages/gites, one of which is so inviting that you may never want to leave. Situated on our 12.5 acre property, you will be surrounded by the serenity of the countryside and have access to our wonderful swimming pool.

Located on the border of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne departments in the Aquitaine region, our region is often compared to the picturesque Tuscany of France. Here, you will find rolling hills, sunflower fields, charming wine chateaus, flowing rivers, historic bastide villages, and stunning castles.

We warmly invite you to join us for a delightful holiday, where you can spend quality time with your family, make new friends for your children, embark on lovely outings, and indulge in our famous delicious dinners made with locally sourced ingredients, including vegetables from our very own garden. Description for Gite

All accommodations at Simply Canvas include breakfast.

Stone B&B Cottage:
Experience an idyllic stay at the Stone B&B Cottage in Simply Canvas. This charming cottage is built with beautiful stones from our region and adorned with lovely natural details. The cottage features a cozy living room, a small kitchen, and a double bedroom in the mezzanine with a second sitting area. Downstairs, there is another bedroom for two children, a large shower room, and a toilet. With a spaciousness of around 800 square feet, it is perfect for families or couples. Outside, you can relax on the private terrace with sun chairs or enjoy the shade under the plum tree while taking in the picturesque view of the fields.

White B&B Cottage:
Indulge in a delightful stay at the lovely White B&B Cottage in Simply Canvas. This beautifully decorated and bright house spans approximately 700 square feet and offers the perfect setting to bask in the afternoon sunshine streaming through the double doors. The cottage features a small living room with a small kitchen, a double bedroom in the mezzanine accessed via stairs, and another double bedroom, separate bathroom, and separate toilet downstairs. Outside, you can unwind on the terrace with a couch and chairs or enjoy the additional sun beds in a secluded area behind the house. Additionally, you have access to our entire 12.5-acre property.

Big Holiday Home:
For those seeking luxury and ample space, our large holiday home is the perfect choice. This fully self-catering property, formerly known as the "chai" on our property where wine was made, has been completely renovated to offer a spacious and bright living space of 1500 square feet. Upon arrival, guests are often amazed by the beauty of the home, which surpasses the pictures on our website. The house features a large open living room with a kitchen, TV, and DVD player. Adjoining the living room is a delightful veranda with glass doors all around, serving as a dining room with a perfect view to enjoy your morning newspaper. The holiday home also boasts a private garden with a stone BBQ, outdoor dining table, and sun chairs. It includes a double bedroom, a separate toilet, and a special room for children, ensuring a comfortable stay for 2-3 children.

Safari Tents:
Our Safari Tents offer an intimate and unique experience, with only six tents, each with its own distinct decoration. One tent is slightly separate for those desiring additional privacy, while the other five tents are spread across a field of 1.25 acres, providing superb views of the surrounding fields. All tents feature a veranda, privacy, and comfortable beds. As an added bonus, each tent has its own bathroom just a few steps away.

Pricing:
Please note that the prices mentioned below are for stays at Simply Canvas outside of July and August in 2017.

Safari Tents and White B&B Cottage (including breakfast and private bathroom):
- 2 persons: €85 per night, €500 for a week (minimum stay of 2 nights)
- 2-4 persons: €105 or €125 per night, €600 for a week (minimum stay of 2 nights)

Stone B&B Cottage (including breakfast):
- 2 persons: €90 per night, €550 for a week (minimum stay of 2 nights)
- 2-4 persons: €110 (3 persons) or €130 (4 persons) per night, €650 for a week (minimum stay of 2 nights)

Holiday Home (including breakfast):
- 2-4 persons: €150 per night, €850 for a week (minimum stay of 2 nights)

For stays in July and August, the prices are as follows:

Safari Tents (including breakfast and private bathroom):
- 2-4 persons: €850 for a week (minimum stay of 1 week, arrival day on Saturday)

White B&B Cottage (including breakfast and private bathroom):
- 2-4 persons: €875 for a week (minimum stay of 1 week, arrival day on Saturday)

Stone B&B Cottage (including breakfast and bathroom):
- 2-4 persons: €925 for a week (minimum stay of 1 week, arrival day on Saturday)

Holiday Home (including breakfast and bathroom):
- 2-4 persons: €1095 for a week (minimum stay of 1 week, arrival day on Saturday)

From Bordeaux:
Take the ring road towards Périgueux/Libourne and enter the highway (toll) just before Libourne. Take exit 12 for Ste Foy la Grande and once in Ste Foy, take the main road towards Duras (D708). In the village of Margueron, turn left towards Miramont. After about 5 km, turn left at the sign for Briquet/Bonac. Continue for about 220m until you reach a white gate (on your right) and you have arrived.

From Brive la Gaillarde:
Take the highway towards Bordeaux/Bergerac. Take exit 12 for Ste Foy la Grande and once in Ste Foy, take the main road towards Duras (D708). In the village of Margueron, turn left towards Miramont. After about 5 km, turn left at the sign for Briquet/Bonac. Continue for about 200m until you reach a white gate (on your right) and you have arrived.
