The Cave Pont dArc, an exceptional site on the UNESCO World Heritage site, is open to visitors and located 25 km away. The Mediterranean Ardèche, known for its rustling sound of cicadas in the summer, offers a land of flavors with olive mills and grape varieties. The gorges of Ardeche and Chassezac valley provide a magnificent setting for thrill seekers and fans of water sports and climbing, with the famous ark of Vallon Pont dArc as the most well-known postcard view. Additionally, visitors can admire the mysterious Païolive wood, the exhibition dedicated to the famous Chauvet cave, and the splendors of Orgnac and its adjacent cavities.

The Ardeche is a place to think outside the box and reconnect with a wild, unspoiled, and lush nature. The mountains, valleys, gorges, plains, lakes, rivers, woods, plateaus, and ridge lines offer a paradise for outdoor recreation. Activities such as caving, canoeing, hiking, tree climbing, climbing, cycling, air sports, and canyoning are available for those seeking adventure and a sporting holiday in the Ardèche. Authenticity, beauty, and breathtaking scenery are the hallmarks of this diverse region.

Many perched and classified villages in the area offer numerous unexpected wonders with their stone houses in pink sandstone covered with slate. Visitors can also enjoy refreshing swims in the many rivers nearby. Golf is available 50 km away in UZES, the sea is 120 km away in PALAVAS, and AVIGNON is 100 km away. For thalasso experiences, VALS LES BAINS and SAINT LAURENT LES BAINS are both within 100 km.

Located 8 km from Joyeuse, on the ridge road, 500 meters above sea level, the village stretches its pink sandstone villages on the road to Saint-Laurent-les-Bains. The village has a population of 121 people and features the Castle Valoubières (XII century), the remains of the Abbey of Chabroulières (XVI century), an exhibition at Country Relay during the summer season by the Association TRACES, and marked hiking trails.

The kitchen opens onto a large living room and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, hob with extractor hood, convection oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, table and chairs stools, counter, and dishes in large quantities. The living room/dining room is 40 m2 and features a fireplace that spreads warmth throughout the house during the winter. It is furnished with leather armchairs, floor lamps, a coffee table, a radio, a stereo with a CD player, and an assortment of classical music CDs. Two doors open onto a tiled terrace that is 25 m2 and offers a stunning view of the valley.

The house has four bedrooms, each with its own unique features. Room 1 on the floor has 2 beds of 90 upholstered and is tastefully decorated. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed with a retractable part comfortable slatted bed base and can be used as a single or double bed (90 or 140). It also features a writing desk with a chair and decorative painting. Bedroom 3 has 2 bunk beds and 1 drawer bed, matching curtains to bedspreads, a desk and chair, and painting and engraving. Bedroom 4 serves as a rest room and is equipped with a TV and VCR, a chair, a 3-seater sofa (which can be used as additional sleeping space), and a cupboard with sliding facades. It also features a writing desk with a stool, a lamppost, and curtains. All bedrooms have large sliding façades closets and a great view.

The bathroom is spacious, fully tiled, and naturally lit. It features decorative wall tiles, storage units with 2 columns and a washstand, a strip light with a shaver point, a retractable door for towels, and thermostatic valves. The shower is a large receiver with servant products and a shower screen in frosted glass.

The independent laundry room is equipped with a hot water cumulus of 300 liters, a washing machine, and an ironing board with a steam iron. The garage has a large fridge with a freezer section for storing fresh and frozen products.

Additional amenities include plush leather chairs, solid oak kitchen furniture, paintings, a grandfather clock, terrace furniture and a parasol, deckchairs, a barbecue, and a telephone for incoming calls. There is also a mezzanine with a reading area and a library with a wide variety of books for adults and children. All openings in the house are equipped with mosquito nets for comfort. The environment features lavender, flowering shrubs, roses, and fruit trees.

The house rules will be provided upon arrival and must be followed scrupulously. A deposit of 400 euros is required, which will be returned on the day of departure if no problems occur during your stay. Check-in and check-out times can be discussed and agreed upon by both parties. The arrival time is between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., and the departure time is before 10:00 a.m. Animals are not allowed, but smokers can smoke on the terrace while enjoying the magnificent landscape.
