Paula and Mike warmly invite you to experience the charm of this historic country house, built in 1750 just before the Revolution. Nestled in picturesque, wooded countryside, the house offers breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere. Having been in our family for generations, it is a spacious and comfortable retreat.

Surrounded by enchanting gardens filled with majestic trees and boasting ample garaging and parking space, the house provides a beautiful and slightly untamed ambiance. Start your day with a generous continental breakfast served in a charming salon adorned with exposed beams and French doors that open onto the gardens. For those who wish to indulge, a four-course evening meal can be arranged with prior notice.

Conveniently located near the borders of Dordogne and Lot, just thirty minutes from Brive la Gaillarde and an hour from Limoges, our house is easily accessible from the A20 and A89 autoroutes, making it an ideal stopover for travelers heading further south. It also serves as a perfect base for exploring the stunning Correze, Lot, and Dordogne regions.

Please note that our house is not suitable for babies or young children.

Guests will have access to a spacious and elegant salon on the ground floor, facing south and featuring French windows that open onto the gardens.

Conveniently located only a six-hour drive south of Calais, Le Chateau is the perfect destination for self-catering holidays in France. Situated just 30 minutes from the town of Brive la Gaillarde, known as the gateway to the South of France, this Chateau provides an excellent base for exploring the Correze, Lot, and Dordogne regions. Discover the region's numerous chateaux open to the public, each with its beautiful gardens. Nearby, you'll find superb lakes with sandy beaches for swimming, as well as opportunities for fishing, canoeing, sailing, and water skiing.
