Description:

Description for B&B:

The Segau is a charming Gascon farmhouse constructed entirely of stone during the late 18th century. It was once a thriving estate spanning over 100 hectares, where multiple families resided together. The farmer occupied the eastern half of the farmhouse, while 4-5 sharecroppers lived in the western section with their families. This part of the farmhouse has now been transformed into five delightful guest rooms.

Today, the Segau operates on a smaller scale, with a total land area of 53 hectares surrounding the farmhouse. Our farming practices prioritize organic methods, and we are proud to cultivate a variety of crops such as wheat, soybeans, lentils, and beans. The farm is beautifully situated in the heart of Ténarèze, an undulating landscape that offers breathtaking views of the Pyrenees.

During the restoration of this historic house, our utmost concern was to preserve its original character. We meticulously selected materials and employed traditional construction techniques, including stone walls with carefully crafted joints and delicate whitewashing. Additionally, we provide accommodation for horses and motorcycles, with a total of 10 specialized boxes available.
