Chatellerault is an ideal stopover or base for longer journeys. It is conveniently located just one hour and twenty minutes from Paris by TGV or three hours by highway (A10). Within a twenty-minute drive, you can explore attractions such as the Futuroscope theme park, the thermal hydrotherapy center of La Roche-Posay, the medieval castle "Chateau des Aigles" in Chauvigny with its eagle shows, and the Golf of St Cyr, overlooking a picturesque lake.

Additionally, many of the famous Renaissance-style castles of the Loire Valley, including Chambord, Chenonceau, and Amboise, are within a one to one-and-a-half-hour drive from La Dulcinière.
