Surrounded by rolling green hills, quiet wooded valleys, and three rivers - Ellé, Scorff, and Aër - MiKa-GaLe offers a tranquil and idyllic rural setting. The surrounding countryside is perfect for outdoor activities such as walking, running, cycling, bird-watching, photography, and even painting and drawing. Explore the extensive network of footpaths that traverse open countryside as well as densely wooded hills and river valleys.

Ploërdut village, just a short walk from the house, features a beautiful Medieval Church and offers amenities such as a Boulangerie, crêperie, two friendly bars, an eatery, and a self-service shop. The area is also rich in historical landmarks, churches, chapels, and medieval villages that seem frozen in time. Within a half-hour drive, you can visit attractions such as the mysterious Chapelle St. Barbe, St. Fiacre, Le Faouet market hall, Les Rochers Du Diable for white water kayaking, and the picturesque Vallee-du-Scorff for a lovely picnic. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the local street markets in Hennebont, Rostrenen, and Vannes.

The nearest town, Guemene Sur Scorff, is just 10 minutes away and offers a charming historic center with a weekly market, bars, restaurants, banks, a post office, cinema, traditional small shops, and supermarkets. The expansive and enclosed garden is ideal for children, providing plenty of safe and open areas to run, play, and explore. Rates for MiKa-GaLe are based on a Saturday change-over day, with weekly bookings preferred. However, shorter stays can be arranged by contacting the owners directly. Directions

The airports in Brittany, listed in order of proximity, are Lorient, St. Brieuc, Dinard, Brest, and Rennes. After arriving at any of these airports, you can then drive to the house.

If you prefer to travel by train, there are options from Paris to Rennes, Vannes, and Lorient. Once you reach any of these destinations, you can continue your journey by driving to the house.

The drive from Paris airports to the house takes approximately 5 hours on the motorway, with a toll cost of around 25 Euros.

For those traveling by ferry, the nearest ports are Roscoff (1.5 hours away), St. Malo (2 hours away), Caen (3 hours away), and Cherbourg (4 hours away).

To easily navigate to the house, simply enter Poulmarvezen into your GPS, and it will guide you directly to the front gate.
