Sixt Fer à Cheval is a village located in the Valley High Giffre, in the Alps. It is near the villages of Samoens, Morillon, and Verchaix. This valley, which is situated halfway between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, offers a plethora of attractions.

To reach Sixt Fer à Cheval, you have various options:

1. If you are coming from Geneva Cointrin Airport or the train station, you can take the A40 motorway towards Annemasse and Cluses.

2. If you are coming from Lyon, either from Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport or the train station, you can take the A40 motorway towards Chamonix. Take the Cluses exit and continue towards Morillon and Samoens on the main road D4. From Samoens, follow the main road D907 towards Sixt Fer à Cheval. After crossing the plain of Vallon and passing a small hamlet called Perret, you will come across a small road on the left, opposite a chapel. Take this road towards Mount and turn right at the end.

3. If you are arriving at Annecy train station, follow the same directions as mentioned above to reach Sixt Fer à Cheval.

During your journey, you will pass through the charming village of Balme and a beautiful forest before arriving at Mount.
