Description for B&B:
La Croix du Reh has a rich history dating back to 1620 when it was initially built as an inn in the charming village of Chateauneuf-la Foret in Haute Vienne, Limousin, following the orders of the French King Henry IV. Throughout the years, it has served various purposes, but it has now come full circle as a chambres dhôtes, or bed and breakfast, providing shelter to travelers, just as it did originally.During the summer months, our guests often enjoy dining in our beautiful garden. We also offer evening meals upon request. Whether it's summer or winter, our Salon welcomes you with its original oak beams and a large open log fireplace, providing a cozy and warm atmosphere.
Our bed and breakfast in Limousin is an ideal alternative to self-catering gites or traditional hotels. It is not just a place to stay; it is also our home, offering the warmth and hospitality of a traditional French bed and breakfast. Even in the depths of winter, when snow covers the ground, our Salon's open log fire provides a comforting and inviting ambiance. If you're looking for a carefree Christmas or New Year break, we have special offers available on our website.
We have five en-suite bedrooms, each with its own unique capacity. The Rose Room can accommodate 2-3 people, the Blue Room is perfect for 1-2 people, the Gold Room can accommodate 2-3 people, the Yellow Family Suite is suitable for 2-5 people, and the Lavender Family Room can also accommodate 2-5 people. Additionally, we can provide baby cots for every bedroom. All of our rooms are equipped with en-suite baths and/or showers, clock-radios, and coffee/tea-making facilities.
We are open year-round, ensuring that our bed and breakfast meets and exceeds all of your expectations for a traditional holiday accommodation in France.
