Road directions from Calais to Château du Bois Noir (approximately 800 km):

1. Start on Motorway A26 and continue onto A1 towards Paris.
2. Upon reaching Paris, take the A3 – A86 and A10 towards Bordeaux.
3. Continue on A10 and exit at Vierzon, following signs for A71 towards Orléans.
4. Merge onto A20 and follow the signs for Chateauroux, Limoges, Toulouse, and Brive-La-Gaillarde.
5. Take exit 50 "Ouest de Brive" towards Objat on route D901 after reaching Brive-La-Gaillarde.
6. Drive for approximately 7 to 8 km and turn left towards Varetz in the village of Burg, following the signs for Ayen/Yssandon on the D5.
7. After 9 km, take the second exit towards Yssandon (do not take the first exit after approximately 1.5 km of Burg).
8. Follow the D3 in the direction of Brignac la Plaine, following the signs for "Bois Noir."
9. After passing the "Bois Noir" sign, the château will be visible after approximately one hundred meters.
