Description:

Description for B&B:

Pailloles is a quaint village located in the northern part of the Share and Garonne region. The Farm Couderc, situated just 40km away from both Agen and Bergerac, is conveniently located near various other towns including Villeneuve-on-Share, Cancon, and Casseneuil. It is nestled at the foot of Castelnaud of Gratecambe and overlooks the nearby Golf course along the RN21.

The village of lodgings, known as "The Farm Couderc," spans across a 14-hectare domain of hilly prairies. It comprises several stone buildings, most of which date back to the 16th century. These buildings include The Barn, The Plum Oven, The Storeroom, The Cellar, The Sheepfold, and The House. Each building offers comfortable and welcoming living spaces, complete with terraces, barbecues, and some even have enclosed gardens.

For both young and old visitors, there are plenty of amenities for relaxation and enjoyment. These include a heated swimming pool with a solarium (open from April to September), recreational areas for activities such as soccer, volleyball, and pétanque, game stations, a trampoline, a game room with ping-pong and foosball, a fitness area with a gym, steam room, and sauna (additional fee applies), as well as enclosures housing Shetland ponies, dwarf goats, and a barnyard. The on-site restaurant, "The Baptistine," offers daily meals featuring traditional and local dishes, available for dining in or takeout. They also offer a half-board option for both adults and children, with breakfast and dinner provided. During the summer season, themed evenings are also organized. Covered and uncovered parking is available.

During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, which is rich in historical sites such as Bastides, Castles, and Tasting Farms. There are also animation parks, museums, farmer's markets, and evening events to enjoy. Nature enthusiasts can take walks along the Share River, visit nearby lakes suitable for swimming and fishing, or explore the various vineyards in the region, including Buzet, Lasted, Marmandais, and other smaller wine regions. Don't forget that this region is known for its plum orchards, particularly the famous Prune of Agen, as well as its duck breeding, offering delicacies such as foie gras, Magret, and Garbure.

If you're interested in sports and leisure activities, there are numerous options available just a few kilometers away from Farm Couderc. These include horseback riding, golfing, fishing, water sports, hiking, cycling, and even aeronautics.

To reach Farm Couderc by road, if coming from Villeneuve-on-Share, take the RN21 towards Bergerac and turn left facing the Villeneuve-on-Share Golf course. If coming from Bergerac, be cautious after passing Cancon and continue on the RN21 without turning towards Pailloles. After Castelnaud of Gratecambe, turn right facing the Golf course on the RN21.

Appréciations pour La Ferme Couderc, Pailloles:

Avis sur le Village de Gites de la Ferme Couderc - 47 (Lot et Garonne)
Review by: Anne, Aou 24 2010 6:21PM

Directions

From Villeneuve-sur-Lot, travel 12 km on RN21 towards Bergerac. When you reach the Golf of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, make a left turn. Pay attention when approaching Bergerac, after CANCON, do not take the Pailloles exit, instead, continue on RN21. After passing Castelnaud de Gratecambe, you will see the Golf on your right side. Make a right turn onto RN21.
