Welcome to our beautifully restored 19th century barn, nestled in the heart of the charming historic village of Pontlevoy. Immerse yourself in the enchanting surroundings of the renowned Chateaux de la Loire. Every aspect of our barn has been meticulously renovated with great care and attention to detail, resulting in a stunning interior design and decoration.

Our esteemed guests have the privilege of indulging in a refreshing swim in our expansive 17m long pool, complete with comfortable loungers and shaded umbrellas. Alternatively, you can unwind in our spacious contemporary garden, or luxuriate in our outdoor Hot Tub. The tranquility of our location is unparalleled, offering a peaceful retreat while still being just a few minutes' walk from the city center, the Abbey, two fine restaurants, a small supermarket, and a bakery.

Please note that for maintenance purposes, the pool is closed on Sunday afternoons and during the night for your safety. Additionally, the property boasts secure parking facilities for your convenience.

Description for Gite

Welcome to our charming cottage, a spacious 140m2 duplex offering a delightful stay. This cozy retreat boasts three separate bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a luxurious king size bed, a double bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. The cottage also features a large shower room with a WC, as well as a guest WC on the ground floor, complete with a vanity for your convenience.

A highlight of the cottage is the generously equipped open American kitchen, featuring a large cooking range with two ovens, a washing machine/dryer, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a mixer. The kitchen also includes a bar area and a pantry with a spacious refrigerator. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining room that comfortably accommodates eight guests, perfect for enjoying meals together. After dining, unwind in the inviting lounge area, furnished with a plush three-seater sofa, four armchairs, and equipped with a TV and home cinema system.

Step outside onto the semi-covered patio, where you'll find teak garden furniture and a large gas barbecue, creating the ideal setting for al fresco dining and relaxation. It's worth noting that the cottage is part of the main building and is situated on the extreme right, ensuring privacy and tranquility during your stay.

On the first floor, accessible through the guest room, you'll discover a spacious loft spanning 70m2. This loft features two bedrooms, with the first bedroom offering a queen size bed and the second bedroom furnished with two twin beds. Additionally, the loft includes a fitted kitchen, a large shower room with a WC, a dining room, and a lounge area with a TV.

During your stay, take advantage of the swimming pool, explore the beautiful garden, and conveniently park your vehicle in our private parking area.

A wonderful location in the heart of the hostoric France.
Refined but unpretentious place for a couple or family. We enjoyed the atmosphere: "great comfort in old stones " Swimming pool. Vegetables from the organic garden. Veru close to the wondrous Loire castles! What else ;-)

Directions

Take the Blois exit from the A10. Follow the signs for Vierzon on the D952. Once you have crossed the Loire, turn right towards Montrichard on the D951. Stay on this road, which runs alongside the Loire, until you reach Pontlevoy. In the village, just before reaching Auberge de l'Ecole, turn right onto Rue du Billeux, which eventually becomes Rue des Fourneaux.
