Description for Gite

Nestled in a scenic valley along the banks of the picturesque river "La Rance," you will find La Minotais. This charming village of Plouër sur Rance offers an authentic Breton experience. Our enchanting 18th-century stone farm has been lovingly transformed into three cozy holiday homes, preserving their original style and character.

La Minotais serves as an ideal starting point to explore the wonders of the Côte d'Emeraude region. The surrounding countryside of Plouër is perfect for cycling, and nearby, you'll find opportunities for horseback riding as well. Just a short stroll away is the marina, where the sailing club offers exhilarating adventures in sailing, kayaking, and canoeing.

Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of this part of Brittany, with its museums, galleries, concerts, traditional "Fest Noz" celebrations, and antique markets. For nature enthusiasts, there are 20 kilometers of breathtaking walking trails along the estuary of the Ranke. Within a 15-minute car ride, you can reach beautiful sandy beaches or explore historically significant sites such as the captivating "cité des corsairs" in St. Malo.

Venture further and discover the medieval town of Dinan and the renowned seaside resort of Dinard, both just a short drive away. In a mere 25 minutes, you can reach Cancale, famous for its expansive bay where delectable oysters and mussels are cultivated. Here, inviting restaurants beckon you to indulge in a tantalizing "degustation" experience.

Finally, in just 30 minutes, you can behold the awe-inspiring beauty of the majestic Mont St. Michel, often referred to as the "8th wonder of the world." Whether you seek adventure, relaxation, or a cultural exploration, La Minotais offers an idyllic retreat for an unforgettable holiday in Brittany.
