Welcome to Le Queyroix-Martin, a charming home nestled in the tranquil Monts de Blond in rural Haute-Vienne. Debra and Graham warmly invite you to experience the peace and serenity of this idyllic retreat. Breathe in the fresh air, listen to the melodious birdsong, and rejuvenate your spirit. Our bed and breakfast, boasting five beautifully appointed double bedrooms with en-suite facilities, has been lovingly converted from original 1883 apple and livestock barns. Indulge in our delicious table d'hôtes meals, served either in the dining room with its charming original features or outside on the terrace overlooking the picturesque garden. Surrounded by enchanting chestnut and oak forests, Le Queyroix-Martin sits on four acres of land, including the historic apple orchard. Feel free to wander and discover hidden spots to read a good book, or simply relax and immerse yourself in the breathtaking views of the valley, occasionally graced by the presence of roe deer grazing among the trees.For outdoor enthusiasts, this area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, with over 100 km of accessible tracks and peaceful lanes with minimal traffic. If you crave exploration, there are numerous towns and villages to discover, each with their own vibrant weekly or fortnightly markets. Lac St Pardoux, a nearby lake, offers opportunities for freshwater swimming and various water sports. If you seek cultural enrichment, the city of Limoges is just a short 30-minute drive away. Limoges boasts a wealth of museums, historic buildings, art galleries, and world-renowned porcelain manufacturers.
Getting to Le Queyroix-Martin is a breeze, with regular flights from several UK airports to Limoges Bellegarde, a mere 20-minute drive away. Other airports, such as Poitiers, Tours, Bergerac, and Bordeaux, are within a convenient three-hour drive. In addition, Ryanair will be opening a new route in 2014 to Brive, which is just a one-hour drive away. If you prefer train travel, Limoges is serviced by TGVs from Paris Gare Austerlitz, easily accessible from Eurostar at Gare du Nord. The Limoges station, Gare Bénédictine, is a must-see for its spectacular architecture, even if you are not arriving by train. If you are traveling by car, we are approximately eight hours from Calais, and various routes are available to bypass Paris and its infamous périphérique.

Warm welcome
We received a very warm welcome from Graham and Debra. The B & B has been beautifully prepared and our room was spacious and comfortable with a glorious view. Well-placed for visiting Oradour and Limoges, we would recommend this B & B very highly.

La maitresse de maison est un fin cordon bleu , les assiettes sont bien garnies ,sauf celles de Graham !!!!qui fini toujours le premier !!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights and can honestly say that it is one of the best places we have stayed. Graham and Debra put everything into making you feel at home. The rooms are super and very comfortable and clean. The food is exceptionally good and home made. Our evening meals and the company were the icing on the cake. Thank you both!

Nous sommes allés chez Debra et Graham Green, un charmant couple de retraités anglais pour le week-end du 14 juillet 2014.
Leur maison se trouve en pleine forêt où le silence domine.
Pour ce qui est des chambres, il y en a 3 (Cerise, Myrtille et Figue). Graham s'est chargé de tout le gros oeuvre (murs à la chaux, pierres apparentes, poutres, parquet...) et Debra de la décoration. Tout cela avec très bon goût, ainsi que pour la salle de bain/WC qui est très grande et aussi agréable que la chambre !
Quant au couchage, nous avons très bien dormi dans un lit King Size (160 cm) bien confortable.
Le petit déjeuner est bien garni et très bon : Debra cuisine des petits pains individuels au graines, ainsi que des brioches, servis chaud. Ainsi que des confitures maison. Café / chocolat chaud / thé, jus d'orange, de pomme. Céréales, yaourts, fruits...
Quant à la table d'hôte : un régal ! Pour 25 euros / personne, le rapport qualité prix est excellent : apéritif / entrée / plat / fromages / dessert / café. Debra est une très bonne cuisinière ! Et Graham, un bon sommelier car vin compris.
Bref, une adresse à retenir car Hôtes très charmants !

Beautiful, new rooms and affectionate atmosphere
During our travel through France, we lived in several Bed&Breakfast accomodations and this definitly was one of the best ones. The rooms are new and you can see and feel the passion and big ambition Debra and Graham put in their rooms to make them as comfortable as possible for their guests.
For the breakfast they bake their own Brioche and you can choose between several self made confitures.
We had great conversations with the owner, who gave us also good advices about the region and local events.
We are still thinking about our trip and won't forget!

Bedankt Deborrah en Graham voor de goede ontvangst, de nette kamers en het lekkere eten. We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf bij jullie en zullen jullie adres zeker aanbevelen. Jullie deden meer dan je best. We wensen jullie in de toekomst alle succes toe en wie weet zien we elkaar nog eens weer!
Directions
To reach Chambre dhôtes Le Queyroix-Martin, follow these directions:
- From the centre of Vaulry, drive towards Chamboret on the D5 road.
- Just as you enter Vaulry from the Chamboret direction, you will see a tourist information board. Turn off the D5 road here.
- Take the road that is signposted to Le Queyroix-Martin and goes uphill. You will see a horse paddock on your right.
- Continue on this road for approximately 1.8 km until you reach a sharp right-hand bend. There will be a footpath signpost on the right verge.
- At this point, turn right and start driving up the hill.
- The first house you will see on the right, about 150 meters up the hill, is Chambre dhôtes Le Queyroix-Martin. Look for the house with blue gates, which is easily identifiable.
