Le Détour is a charming Bed and Breakfast Inn situated in Buffard, at the heart of the Doubs region in Franche-Comté. Nestled within a historic property dating back to the 17th Century, the guest rooms are located in a separate outbuilding. Our establishment has been distinguished with the prestigious three corn ear distinction by Gite de France, and we also offer fishing opportunities.

We provide five comfortable and spacious guest rooms, each tastefully decorated and equipped with a private bathroom. One of our rooms is specially designed to cater to the needs of disabled individuals. As part of your stay, a delicious breakfast is included in the price. During the summer months, guests have the option to enjoy their breakfast on our terrace or in the park, while admiring the beautiful surroundings and the presence of our friendly donkeys.

Le Détour is ideally situated in an enchanting environment that offers a plethora of cultural and sporting activities. You may choose to embark on a themed visit, exploring the nearby Arc-et-Senans Royal Saltworks or indulging in a relaxing fishing session along the Loue river, complete with a delightful picnic. Additionally, you can explore the area on a mountain bike or in a canoe.

After a day of exploration, our park and terrace are available for you to unwind before venturing out to savor the delectable cuisine of Franche-Comté in one of the many restaurants in the vicinity.

Directions

Directions to reach "Le Détour" in Buffard from Besancon:
- From Besancon, follow the signs for Lons-le-Saunier and take the RN83. After traveling 20 km, you will come across a three-way section. Leave the RN83 and head towards Quingey. Upon reaching Quingey public square, turn right, then left in front of the bar and follow the signs for Lombard-Liesle-Arc et Senans. Pass through Lombard and 500m from Liesle, turn left to reach Buffard.
- If you missed the turn to Quingey, continue towards Lons-le-Saunier. About 1 km before Mouchard, turn right towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue River and then turn right to Buffard.
- If you are coming from Dijon or Dole on the A39, follow the signs for Geneva/Dole Choisey. Take the exit at Dole Choisey and at the first roundabout, turn right towards Geneva and Lons-le-Saunier. At the second roundabout, turn left towards Geneva and Pontarlier. Continue following the signs for Pontarlier until you reach Mouchard, but do not enter the town. At Mouchard, follow the signs for Besancon on the RN83. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue River and then turn right to Buffard.
- If you are coming from Dijon or Dole on the RN5, follow the signs for Geneva and Pontarlier. At Mouchard, follow the signs for Besancon on the RN83. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue River and then turn right to Buffard.
- If you are coming from Lons-le-Saunier on the A39, after passing the billboards for Poligny and Arbois, exit the A39 towards Pontarlier and Poligny. On the RN83, follow the signs for Besancon, passing through Poligny and Arbois, and continue straight on past Mouchard. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue River and then turn right to Buffard.
- If you are coming from Lons-le-Saunier on the RN83, follow the signs for Besancon, passing through Poligny and Arbois until you reach Mouchard. Stay on the RN83 and after 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue River and then turn right to Buffard.
- If you are coming from Geneva, Lausanne, or Pontarlier on the D72, after passing Salins, follow the signs for Lons-le-Saunier until you reach Mouchard. Before entering Mouchard, follow the signs for Besancon on the RN83. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue River and then turn right to Buffard.
To find "Le Détour" in Buffard if you are coming from Quingey or Arc-et-Senans, before the Buffard sign, at the crossroads, turn left onto Rue de Besancon and follow it to number 27.
To find "Le Détour" in Buffard if you are coming from Port-Lesney, enter the village and continue past the left bend. The first road on the right is Rue de Besancon, where you will find number 27.
